It was so awesome to see my project close with so many backers on Kickstarter. We have ordered some of the items, such as cameras, GPS Tracker, cellphone, parachute which should be here this week. Then we can start building the payload container once we get some of our items then i can post some pictures. Tobey

I'm very happy that I now know for sure that I will be able to complete this project, thanks to all the generous people who donated. We have talked about adding a second tracking system in case the first one malfunctions. We would like to include a mobile phone with Accutracking, so that we will have a backup in case the GPS Spot Tracker malfunctions. Thanks again everybody! Tobey

Our weather balloon will be filled with about 80 cubic feet of helium gas. The balloon will will have a diameter of 5 Ft.  on the ground and when it reaches 95,000 in the air it will expand to 25 Ft. in diameter, and then it will burst because the pressure outside the balloon is greater then the pressure on the inside.

I'm getting close to my goal of my project being funded, i'm not to far off. I appreciate all my backers. I have been studying the different layers of the atmosphere. The first layer which is the Troposphere goes to 52368 Ft. high. The second layer is the Stratosphere and it goes to 160,000 Ft. high. My balloon should go about halfway through the Stratosphere. I hope everything goes well and i get lots of great pictures.
